what I learned about Adriaen Van Donck
I read a article on Adriean Van Donck and i learned that not only was he a lawyer, but he was the first lawyer in the Dutch Colony. He also promoted immigration to the colony publishing many tracts including "Description of New Netherland." Adriean was also a Native Americal Elhnographer. He owned land in New Netherland which is now knowned as New York City. He was a activist for Dutch West India Company. Saddly he got enacated on Feb 2, 1650.
